Geoff is a passionate entrepreneur dedicated to bringing about positive economic change within the Pacific Island community in Aotearoa, New Zealand. As a co-founder of AFI, he works alongside a team of Polynesian entrepreneurs with a shared commitment to empowering their people. His contributions span various areas, including branding, marketing, graphic design, web building, recruitment, HR, relationship building, and sales. His focus lies in creating space for tailored financial advisory services that address cultural beliefs, language barriers, and the need for wraparound support.

With a deep understanding of the Polynesian culture and language, he strives to bridge the gap in financial literacy by offering culturally aligned translations and educational materials. His goal is to empower the Pasifika community, enabling greater representation in homeownership, investments, and intergenerational wealth. Through his holistic approach and dedication, he is committed to creating a strong economic platform that empowers individuals within the Western financial system and fosters a thriving community.

Steve Hill has over 30 years of experience in Insurance and investment within the polynesian community. He has run sales teams of up to 50 people and has employed and created opportunities in the pacific market in finance. In his 30 years experience he has found that Pacific people are the least served in the financial market and as a result has had the worst outcomes, Steve brings a wealth of experience and is passionate about educating people in finance and providing the best outcomes at the best price.

Simon Rolland co-founded Aurora Capital in 2021. His breadth of experience in financial services spans insurance, investment advising, funds management, venture capital and private equity. Simon is also the founder of Aurora Financial, a financial advice business dedicated to helping New Zealand families with tailored financial advice.

Simon is inspired to lead the business in innovative, ethical, and sustainable pathways. He dares to believe that we can be the generation that solves climate change and is thrilled that Aurora KiwiSaver investments can be used as a vehicle to leave a legacy that is both personal and for the greater good of society and the planet.
